  • Stock photo: An idea I just came up with for an interesting reflection. ****************** Update 2-5-05, this photo has sold in the past week and will be used on the cover of a chemistry text book for 16 - 19 year old students in Sweden. This photo has won numerous "Photo of the Day" contests and also won 2nd place in Agfa’s "Surfer’s Gallery" in February 2004 with a prize of Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 Software. ****************** Update 9-4-05, I just received my copy of the book in the last couple of days. 5,500 copies have been printed so far.   • Stock photo: What a beautiful time - Spring. Flowers are everywhere. I shot more then 100 images with only florals today. Lens was inside Magnolia flower. DOF At so close distance even f/8 (f/22 analog for digicams) are shallow, selective focus on petal by purpose-lives sence of mistery. No way to shot so close and have sharp everything in frame. It’s possible to get entire flower in focus if distance is bigger then here, but you will need to crop most of image out. This is entire frame, no cropping done.

  • Stock photo: Taken at the Prosser Balloon Fair, they light up the balloons at night to dazzle the crowds with the flames and brilliant colors. I was lucky enough to get this from the infield! Evidently, there is quite an art to getting these inflated. First they fill them full of cool air with big fans and then careful hit the burners to inflate them further with hot air. They carefully angle the flames so as not to burn the silk!

  • Stock photo: Prov 4:18 " The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day." I went for my weekly walk along the river before dawn thinking I hoped to grab a few rising mist shots. I did not find mist but bitter clear cold. However, I blessed with the colors of dawn reflecting off the ice and rushing water. I spent several hours out there trying different shutterspeeds to get the right water texture! Amazing what you can see if you just look.

  • Stock photo: This is my dog Mickey again. He’s a West highland white terrier. I’ve tryed this on several diffrent kinds of dogs with diffrent colors. It seems to work the best on white dogs. This one took me about 3 hours to do. Hope you enjoy it. Thanks for looking. I left the eye’s green in this photo cause it just kinda went with it, but I can change the eye color if someone needs them or wants them a different color.
