  • Stock photo: A peacock feather caught my eye while out scouting the market one day for flowers to complete my trio. Once I saw it, I knew I had to switch gears and use this for the "J" in my Joy image. The rest of the items fell into place after that. A depiction of spring - rebirth, new buds blooming, baby birds chirping - the joys of spring! *This is not a composite. It was shot as-is like the others in the series were. Like the others, it’s also available without the border.

  • Stock photo: We were blessed this day with great weather and of course the presence of "L" pod to provide a show for us. This shot was taken off the North end of Stuart Island in the San Juan Islands near the Canadian border. Beleive it or not these Orca’s or Killer Whales were cruising in rest mode. Where they shut down half their brain (I know some people who do that) and cruise rising out out the water every little bit as they headed north to Canadian water to feed.

  • Stock photo: It is quite a delight to have a hummingbird sit on your hand, and supprisingly is not difficult to achieve. This is a female Rufous that has landed on my finger next to a feeder. This photo had minimal adjustments made in PSPro, and IS NOT a composite or misrepresentation. If you are more interested, drop me a message and I will be glad to elaborate. (the background is dark because flash was used, and camera was handheld in right hand.)

  • Stock photo: I watched this coyote stalk mice near Morraine Park in Rocky Mountain National Park. His luck was not so good for the half hour I spent creeping close enough to get this shot. I was blessed with a bit of a break in the clouds to give this guy some light as well. He certainly doesn’t look like he is missing any meals.

  • Stock photo: The Sequel to"Before the dive"! The result was the catch or retrieval of this fish and the flight to bring it home to the family. I only wish I had he angle to catch the capture. However I was not so lucky as to see that. The bird dove below my view because a of dike along the river. I can only hope to catch the moment when the prey is snared if I keep watching! Patience!
