  • Stock photo: The first fingers of light dancing across one of the many lakes around Rainier. The mist rising in the background with the sun making bands of light skip across the lake surface. One of those scenes a camera just can’t do complete justice to. So many things to view from the wildflowers to the mist to mountain and the magnificent light. There is just no place like Rainier at Sunrise. I had hiked my 4 miles by 10 and was on my way home just as the trail began to get crowded. I feel so blessed to find scenes like this literally in my backyard. I hope you enjoy! ( Resubmitted with a Slight Crop from the bottom, thanks to an observant rater)

  • Stock photo: Plumerias (Frangipani) also known as the Lei flower, is native to warm tropical areas of the Pacific, especially Hawaii. This beautiful flower was named after Charles Plumier, 17C French botanist. Plumeria belongs in the plant family Apocynaceae. Frangipani smells so good I had fun creating this hommage to a flower.Be sure to check out my botanical folder for more exotic and unusual flowers using a higher quality camera.
