  • Stock photo: James 4:14 "How do you know what will happen tomorrow? For your life is like the morning fog-- it’s here a little while, then it’s gone." Are we living for today or for eternity? Some days it seems like the fog of the moment, of today, never lifts and allows us to see tomorrow. It is always such a pleasant surprise to be shown the light. This was a a great day to go for walk around the lake. Even though the fog nearly made me turn around, I was blessed to watch a view like this unfold before me.

  • Stock photo: John 7:38 : "Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him." A little winter hike up near Clear lake led me to this. The delicate ice hanging in front of the rushing water, almost suspended in time. A moment that a bit of sunny warmth will evaporate. I really struck by the contrast of textures in this shot. Sometimes it does pay to look down.

  • Stock photo: I watched this coyote stalk mice near Morraine Park in Rocky Mountain National Park. His luck was not so good for the half hour I spent creeping close enough to get this shot. I was blessed with a bit of a break in the clouds to give this guy some light as well. He certainly doesn’t look like he is missing any meals.

  • Stock photo: The Sequel to"Before the dive"! The result was the catch or retrieval of this fish and the flight to bring it home to the family. I only wish I had he angle to catch the capture. However I was not so lucky as to see that. The bird dove below my view because a of dike along the river. I can only hope to catch the moment when the prey is snared if I keep watching! Patience!
